Yes, I'm still around. Apologies for the delay in posts; real life does intrude and takes precedence over my online ramblings. We had a really nice time on our little impromptu trip to the mountains, hope everyone had a good independence day as well.
We're going to visit family near Asheville, NC for the weekend. I guess since I failed to pre-order my copy of the final Harry Potter book I'll be forced to pick up a copy at a bookstore tomorrow. Now before you go and judge me, I'm not a hard-core fanatic who will be waiting in line in costume to get my copy of the book, but I'll admit that I have enjoyed the series and it will be interesting to see how Ms. Rowling ends the series.
